Family life today is complex. Even when a family looks like one unit, each person plays a different role and carries their own stress, emotions, and expectations. When one person struggles, it often affects communication, routines, and the overall tone of the home. Small shifts in behavior can signal deeper needs, and understanding those needs can change the direction of the entire family. My work focuses on helping families recognize these patterns and supporting each member in their own healing. I work with families as a whole and with individuals of all ages, including kids, teens, and adults. Children, teens, and adults all communicate their needs differently. Kids often express their emotions through play & behavior rather than words, which is why play therapy can be so effective helping kids process experiences. Teens and adults carry burdens differently, which is why I meet clients where they are & tailor therapeutic approaches to individuals.
