I am a licensed and board certified clinical social worker with more than 35 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families in teaching hospitals and in private practice. For over 20 years I was a senior social worker in the Department of Psychiatry at a teaching hospital where I provided therapy, supervised psychiatry residents and social work staff in the child and adult psychiatric clinic. I am a warm, empathic, pragmatic and active therapist with extensive training in a variety of techniques. I use an individualized approach and tailor the therapy to the client, focusing on the client’s strengths.
