I work with individuals who've found themselves faced with a range of issues, including depression and anxiety, relationship and family difficulties, isolation and loneliness, hopelessness and confusion, addiction, and recovery from addiction. The couples I see usually contend with conflict and communication problems, often deeply painful and ingrained. In all my work, with individuals and couples, I find it helpful to mix the immediacy of in-the-moment experience with thoughtful reflection and exploration, respecting both conscious and unconscious processes, the explicit as well as the implicit.
