Therapy can help name experience, holding the moving pieces that keep bumping up against the edges of your consciousness, organizing them, fitting them back together in a way that makes sense and returning them to you with skills to manage them. Sometimes though, the articulate and self aware client will spend hours explaining things they already understand, while still feeling unseen and disconnected, like their inner world is still being missed, knowing there is hurt and dissonance but needing someone to help them connect to it. My holistic mind, heart and body approach can bring you to a place of both naming and experiencing. My unique blend of cognitive, somatic and story work help engage mind, body and heart to facilitate integrated and lasting change.
