My goal as a therapist is to help my clients identify and overcome challenges in their lives. I work with my clients to reach their goals in order to gain a happier and healthier way of living. In turn, they're able to increase their overall day-to-day satisfaction. My main framework is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. However, I am open-minded and mindful of theoretical orientations to help my clients work through obstacles during our work together. I utilize motivational interviewing techniques to help my clients identify areas for improvement in their lives. This technique allows my clients to gain a better understanding of what their motivation for change is. I have over 15 years of experience working as a licensed social worker with a variety of clients. My specialties range from Bipolar Disorder and Personality Disorders to Anxiety, Depression and Interpersonal-Conflicts.
