I'm a seasoned psychologist who provides culturally responsive psychotherapy to adults of all ages. I work collaboratively with clients from a relational/psychodynamic framework, but I'm also skilled working in a more structured way to address specific and short-term goals. Above all, I believe the relationship between client and therapist is the central element in treatment. The relationship is the medium by which therapy helps clients foster a strong sense of self-worth and identity, increase happiness and life satisfaction, improve the quality of their relationships, and understand their feelings, motives, and behavior.
