Hi, I'm a licensed clinical Social worker based in Florida. I received my Master's degree from Florida International University and have over 6 years of experience. I help clients, whether young adults or much older adults, who are struggling with adaptive coping mechanisms in response to life stressors or life-changing events. I work with clients by being supportive and helping them develop more adaptive coping skills, which they can utilize to overcome the challenges they face. I believe that therapy is a collaborative approach, and I like to start by building trust and begin where the client is at. In our first session, we will begin the therapeutic process with brief introductions and explore the challenges or roadblocks you are facing. This will help us formulate a plan that we can both collaborate on to develop, allowing us to identify realistic goals to work on together for follow-up sessions.
