Being fully present with my clients as they navigate their own experience was always a professional aspiration, and it has become one of my highest joys. I enjoy celebrating each individual in their entirety, validating their worth, and being a witness to their life. I also deeply connect with the decolonization of therapy. As a clinical social worker in my final year of graduate school, I believe that overarching systems and social structures contribute to psychological distress.
