My name is Fernanda Maytorena-Unger, LCSW. I wanted to let you know that the struggle is real! Through the years, I’ve witnessed a great deal of challenges individuals from diverse backgrounds face. These struggles range from stress management, anxiety, and depression to trauma experiences that impact the way we function affecting our mind, body, and soul significantly. Mental Health looks, feels, and manifests differently for each individual. The challenge is not finding the right treatment or clinical modality that may work in therapy but understanding that this is not a “one size fits all” treatment.
