It feels hopeless. It feels intimidating. It feels insurmountable. It is the pain of life. It is real. The good news is that it is truly not hopeless. While seeking help can feel daunting, it is the first step towards breaking through barriers. By being here, you have begun your passage towards reclaiming yourself. I meet my clients where they are in their life’s journey and I consider myself a “fellow traveler.” I join them on that road to help them gain insight, to provide perspective, and to collaborate in determining the best course of treatment to arrive at a destination of a content mind and heart. It is paramount for me to provide a supportive environment where clients can share their stories and move towards personal growth. Although strengths-based approaches, cultural responsiveness, and search for meaning are the foundation of my therapeutic practice, I also integrate multiple theories and perspectives to fit the needs of each client.
