When engaging with clients, I work from a strengths-based perspective; this helps my clients recognize their unique gifts and talents while discovering their core resiliency. I enjoy empowering my clients by helping them understand their behavior, challenges, and goals. We identify family patterns of behavior, habits, and illnesses, which are often passed down to future generations. I practice Narrative Therapy to help clients write a life story they can feel good about and embrace. Other therapy modalities might include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
