Are you just f-ing exhausted? A car accident left you emotionally paralyzed. An assault shook up your life. A recent medical diagnosis or crisis has you questioning what's next. All the "why" questions are flying through your head and the constant noise drives you nuts. You want things to make sense. You want to feel like yourself again. Most of all, you want to go back in time to the thing that changed your body or your life and do everything in your power to prevent it from happening. The problem is that no one prepared you for this or understands how to help. As a survivor of multiple head injuries and a person living with chronic illness, I can be REAL about recovery while offering hope and meaning for the future. In my office, you'll encounter art, blankets, lava lamps, laughter, tears, games, and too much swearing. The work towards healing your mind and body is painful, but I will provide glimmers of joy.
