About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in depression, anxiety, personality disorders, the psychological impact of medical problems, eating disorders, and substance use disorder. I am also a CASAC (Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor). Having been a hospital based social worker at New York Presbyterian Hospital, I have teamed with psychiatrists and other physicians and am comfortable communicating with referring doctors. I work closely with a Cornell professor of psychiatry in my suite, who will quickly do a psychiatric assessment when appropriate and provide medication treatment, if needed.
