Hello, my name is Gabriel Silva and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Stricklen Health & Wellness, LLC. I offer a clinical approach that is more than just "talking about your problems", I incorporate a holistic, client-centered approach in therapy and focus on teaching new and healthy coping skills to overcome and navigate your symptoms so you can ultimately succeed. Therapy is a learning experience and process so I believe in looking at the “big picture” since there are other factors we must consider. My ultimate goal is for you to find happiness, confidence and tranquility. I have experience in cognitive-behavioral techniques, talk therapy, and motivational interviewing. My areas of practice include depression, anxiety, acute trauma, attachment issues relating to foster care, and HIV/AIDS. In addition to therapy practice, I have worked as a medical social worker for people living with HIV and have also provided trainings.
