Whether we have grown up with old hurts or find ourselves overwhelmed with current stressors, I believe there are times when we come to the limit of our capacity to cope well and need to seek professional help. I believe that learning new ways of thinking and acting with the aid of a compassionate therapist can help clients be more fully engaged in their lives and offer myself as a partner in this process. I use a variety of approaches primarily drawn from mindfulness, cognitive behavioral, and psycho-dynamic models to help clients master current life challenges.
