My main focus in being an effective and supportive counselor is to provide a safe space for you to explore and understand your thoughts, feelings and emotions. I strive to make this space a comfortable one in which we can create, set, and achieve goals that are attainable for you in all aspects of your life. I am passionate about mental health and aim to provide counseling services that are tailored to meet your individual needs while utilizing evidence-based techniques specific for reaching your goals. I intend to create an environment in which my clients can feel supported and understood while exploring their emotions. My main goal is to empower clients to learn healthy coping skills to embrace life’s challenges and gain valuable insight of themselves. I have experience with working with clients who struggle with substance use, trauma, grief, and many emotional challenges such as anxiety and depression.
