There are many out there who have never been able to receive the quality mental healthcare they deserve, despite socioeconomic status, sexuality, lifestyle, or other demographics. There are many people out there, whether adolescents or adults, who feel as if they aren't taken seriously or don't feel as if they're 'heard.' With all this in mind, it's easy to give up on finding the clinician who is right for them. It's important to find a therapist who listens, responds, and will be in their corner rooting for them as they navigate the process of improving overall mental and emotional wellness. I primarily work with adolescents and adults ranging from 14 years to 50. I've had vast experiences working with numerous populations such as drug court/substance abuse, those with legal issues, sexuality/gender identity, self-harming, SI, etc. I offer an eclectic approach and 'out of the box' thinking to help play to my client's strengths.
