My approach is client-centered and rooted in the belief that the client knows themselves best; this approach is based on Adlerian teachings and the idea of holism. I look at all aspects of them as a person and not just the presenting problem. I like to help clients gain the skills to navigate through their struggles. While I understand the purpose and need for goals, I am more of a solution-based clinician. I believe in fostering the client’s strength to achieve what they want out of therapy. I try to accomplish all of this through a sense of humor, directness, and a dash of approachability.
