I value and honor the complex ways in which each person engages with the world by collaborating with clients to create an open, safe, and non-judgmental space, prioritizing clients’ autonomy throughout the therapeutic process. As a queer-identified practitioner, I bring personal and professional experience to creating an affirming space, regardless of whether gender and/or sexuality are central issues in your current therapeutic needs. I'm experienced in working with folks experiencing anxiety, depression, mood variations, and the multitude of responses that can result from trauma. I view therapy as a collaborative space and enjoy co-learning with clients. I practice a compassion-focused, client-centered, trauma-informed therapeutic approach and use the tools and training I have to tend to the individual needs of my clients. Additionally, I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) theory into my therapy practice.
