Garrett Auer is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Colorado who has been practicing since 2014. Garrett has a history of working in various different levels of mental health care. He has had roles as a crisis counselor, clinical assessment specialist, school-based therapist, and Inpatient counselor. Garrett has a strong background in CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, and has spent much of his career working with people who struggle with co-occurring addiction. He believes that meeting a person where they are and learning about their lived experience is one of the most important things a therapist can do.
