About
Intimacy is layered. It is emotional, physical, relational, and psychological. It lives in the felt sense of safety and connection—both within your body and within your relationships. When intimacy becomes tangled with shame, anxiety, or pain, it can quietly erode connection and leave you feeling isolated, even in relationships that matter deeply. You may be struggling with low desire, painful sex, infidelity, mismatched libidos, or long-held resentment that’s never been named. You may be carrying shame from your past—shaped by family dynamics, relationships, culture, or societal expectations. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and AASECT sex therapist I work with individuals and couples who want to rebuild trust and intimacy after infidelity, work through desire differences, work through chronic pain or health conditions, treat sexual dysfunctions such as erectile difficulties or pelvic pain, address grief and loss, and traumatic experiences.
