I founded Geek Wellness Counseling to provide a space for nerd/geek-identified individuals (like myself) to access the support they need in navigating their mental health challenges. I provide professional counseling services to individuals, couples, and groups with a nerdy flair. I primarily focus on helping folks with ADHD, PSTD, and substance use disorders. However, I also see clients who present with anxiety, depression, and communication issues. My core approach to therapy is person-centered with bits of existentialism woven into it. In addition, I pull from other modalities like cognitive-behavioral therapy, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, and narrative therapy.
