Hi, my name is Gena Jorgensen. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University. I have extensive training in the areas of play therapy, human trafficking/sextortion, sexual abuse, trauma-focused and strength-based work, motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and goal setting. My experience includes 19 years working with children and families within the child welfare system dealing with child protective services, foster care, adoption, the juvenile justice system, and human trafficking. Therapy can help process trauma, build coping skills, repair relationships, and create a roadmap for future success.
