As a professional licensed drug and alcohol counselor in the Midcoast Maine for over 30 years, I have had the privilege working with numerous young adults and their families that have been affected by substance use/abuse. I have worked in the public school systems, private schools as well as with various post-secondary institutions. Not all clients I work with have crossed the line into addiction.
