Do you have concerns about your child or teen's mental health and wellbeing? Do they seem anxious, sad, or angry? What about you? Are you a new mom or overwhelmed by your current pregnancy or postpartum experiences, and do you want additional support during this stage in your life? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you have come to the right place! I am Dr. Gift McDougal, a clinical psychologist and the owner of Gift of Therapy, LLC. I am passionate about working with children and teens, as well as women who are pregnant or in the postpartum period. I strive to create meaning and inspire hope in the lives of others. I work with children and adolescents ages 7-18 and help them navigate home and school experiences. I also provide support to teen mothers and women during and after their pregnancies, working collaboratively to decrease symptoms, increase feelings of self-worth, and strengthen social support. One of my goals is for you to feel heard and understood.
