Living with trauma that's repeated or lasted for years isn't something you just 'get over.' Especially when it's shaped your entire way of being. I work with individuals who are experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, ADHD, anxiety, or mood disorders, many of whom have been told to "try harder" or "calm down" for most of their lives. You might feel like you're always on edge, or like something bad is about to happen, even when things seem okay. Or maybe your brain feels like it's running in 20 different directions at once, and it's exhausting just trying to keep up.
