Therapy is not a one size fits all endeavor. I am a strong believer that we are all in fact our own best experts. It might mean (re) discovering what brings us joy, fulfillment, even excitement. Discussing your own individual, unique journey without judgement, bias, coercion, or assumption can be a way to ensure you feel you are on the path YOU are consciously choosing. I'm here to support you in YOUR goals. I think of my role first and foremost as an ally. Utilizing my experience, expertise, education, & empathy to best support you in your own healing journey. Our past, while vital to our sense of self, does not have to define us. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused, Narrative Therapy, Trauma Informed, Mindfulness. I like to utilize an eclectic & varied approach drawing from years of experience working with clients from different backgrounds. By focusing on clients' unique, inherent strengths & character we can learn greater self-compassion within the therapeutic process.
