I am deeply committed to providing fellow LGBTQIA+ BIPoC folx affirming services where social justice is at the forefront of mental health care. My professional area of focus is complex-trauma, working with survivors of sexual violence and gender-based harm. Common expressions of trauma are: anxious thoughts, depressive mood, suicidal ideation, grief, guilt, shame, interpersonal relationship distress, & challenges with self-worth. With warmth, thoughtfulness, and humor, I utilize an integrative approach I aim to build insight by co-creating a safe enough space to explore how activating experiences may influence distress and coping.
