About
I received my bachelor’s degree in theology and a Director of Christian Education certificate from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. I earned my master’s degree in social work with a focus on trauma from Nebraska Wesleyan University. I am married to my loving husband, Chris, and he and I are parents to three internationally adopted children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I am passionate about using my life experience as a mom and caregiver to help other families and individuals navigate issues relating to disability, caregiver burnout, belonging and loneliness, and navigating oppressive systems.
