The first step in seeking help is sometimes the hardest and finding the right therapist may feel overwhelming. Knowing trust is essential, I am a believer that a therapeutic alliance begins at the very first interaction whether it is on the phone or the exchange of a smile in the waiting room. Through the process of therapy, I can help you identify and change unhealthy patterns. Together, we will work to bring understanding and insight to the behaviors, thoughts, and feelings that may cause uncertainty and ultimately keeps you from achieving your full potential. I am a bilingual, Spanish-speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who has worked in community mental health for close to 20 years. I have extensive experience working individuals and families living with anxiety, depression, trauma as well as substance abuse. I combine different therapeutic approaches including Person Centered, CBT, and EMDR.
