I am an inquisitive person, and as a therapist I aim to balance warmth and compassion with an eagerness to learn how my clients make sense of the world. I have also worked in visual arts, and creatively adapt the treatment of anxiety, depression, loss, low self-esteem, and conflicted identity to suit a client's needs. We all give up some of our childhood sense of possibility in order to accommodate the responsibilities of adulthood. These accommodations can limit us. Using thoughtful questions and observations, I encourage clients to reconsider habitual ways of thinking, feeling, and relating to others.
