Welcome to my profile! I'm Vanna Winters, a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with expertise in treating individuals who have experienced ptsd, developmental trauma, dissociation, and eating disorders. I am passionate about helping my clients heal, grow, and reclaim their sense of personal power after the effects of traumatic experiences. In my work with PTSD and eating disorders, I draw heavily from trauma-informed approaches, including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Internal Family Systems. These modalities aim to address trauma's impact on the body, emotions, thoughts, and relationships. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can share their experiences and work towards healing. Integrating the mind and body, through trauma-informed approaches, allows the opportunity to tap into your innate resilience and healing capacity.
