I was born in South Korea and moved to the U.S. as a teenager—a transition that deeply shaped how I understand identity, belonging, and the ways culture shapes our inner lives. Growing up between cultures taught me how complex it can be to find language for what we feel—especially when those feelings don’t fit neatly into categories. That’s part of why I approach therapy not just as treatment, but as an ongoing conversation: about where someone’s been, who they are, and how they want to move forward.
