As a Muslim, South Asian American, neurodivergent woman, I understand the nuances of navigating cultural, religious, and societal expectations and trying to find your authentic self in the midst of trying to keep yourself afloat. This gives me the ability to relate deeply with clients, especially those who identify as first or second generation immigrants struggling with complex traumas, anxiety, or depression. Many of my clients are young adults and Millennials looking to address childhood experiences, life transitions and stressors, trauma, cultural issues, or past experiences of abuse and relationship violence.
