Humans are designed to move toward healing. Our cuts and scrapes are meant to scab over, becoming whole again. The healing process is hindered only if something continues to cut and scrape the same spot, not allowing the scab to form. This is where symptoms like depression/anxiety/etc develop - when healing has not been allowed to happen. Your heart, mind, and body are trying to tell you something. Our brains can create healthy pathways just as quickly as they can create unhealthy pathways. We must create a deep and reverent relationship with this muscle that allows us to experience this world. Healing happens faster than you think! I am a psychospiritual systems therapist. My style aims to honor the complexity that is the human experience, always remaining curious, while reconnecting to a holistic and symbolic way of life. You are more powerful than you think and I’m here to help you overcome whatever has been interfering with your healing.
