Are you navigating questions of belonging, hopelessness, and self-worth? I’m a bilingual Spanish-English psychotherapist with over a decade of experience supporting folks through experiences of loss, migration, multiculturalism, trauma, depression, anxiety, violence and relationship challenges. I specialize in working with immigrants, children of immigrants and survivors of trauma including gender- and identity-based violence, detention, family violence and neglect, persecution, and community violence. I am also an adjunct social work instructor, supervisor and an American Psychoanalytic Association fellowship recipient. My approach is insight-oriented, collaborative and client-centered. I work from an anti-oppressive, anti-racist lens informed by principles of liberation psychology and narrative therapy. I am also trained in relational and interpersonal psychoanalytic psychodynamic psychotherapy. Virtual and in-person sessions are available in Spanish and English.
