Welcome, I'm glad you are here. Seeking out a new therapist is a brave step of care for yourself. Most central to my approach is my belief that an open and connected therapeutic relationship is the most important means for healing and growth. To me, therapy is a partnership fostered through consent, input, and feedback as the process unfolds. My primary practice areas are depression, anxiety, trauma/complex trauma, grief/life-stage transitions, chronic illness, and substance abuse. I offer teletherapy to folks living in CA and/or IL, or in-person therapy (Wednesdays) in downtown Davis, CA. I take particular interest in exploring clients’ early attachments and underlying emotional needs, while drawing in perspectives from trauma therapy, mindfulness/imagery/somatic work, exploring thought patterns, and harm reduction. I am sincere, nonjudgmental, approachable, and practical. I practice from a queer affirming, HAES, and anti-oppressive lens.
