I am a New York City based Clinical Social Worker specializing in adolescents, young adults and families. I also provide clinical supervision to new clinicians. For almost 20 years I have worked with clients who struggle with a wide range of issues. My areas of expertise include treating adolescents and young adults with adjustment issues, family conflict, substance use, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, career counseling, trauma, bullying, gender and sexuality struggles. I practice using a treatment approach that takes into consideration each person's strength and experience. My treatment style encompasses open and honest communication to help clients achieve their goals through short term treatment, long term treatment, family therapy, couples counseling and group treatment. Through the development of a strong therapeutic alliance, we work together to develop effective coping skills.
