I believe that therapy is about feeling understood. My job is to give you this feeling in session with me, and to help make it an enduring feature of your life when you are not in the room. I do this by listening, with care and curiosity, to whatever you want to tell me, by pointing out the instances when you get in your own way, and by letting you know that, no matter how great the difficulty you are facing, we can explore it together.
