Hi. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in California. I have extensive training and clinical experience in trauma therapies. My perspective is that childhood trauma has a lifelong impact on the ability of people to like, accept, and have compassion for themselves; to feel, express, and regulate their emotions; to be vulnerable, honest, and communicative in relationships; to take risks at work and in relationships; and to find meaning, satisfaction, and joy in life. I use the initial session to get to know you, to find out where you are struggling, and what changes you want to make in your life. I will listen to you very carefully and with great empathy to get a visceral sense of what isn't working in your life and how you want your life to be different.
