I work with clients who are seeking to overcome past trauma, PTSD / c-PTSD, relational and sexual abuse; and grow into their authentic, vulnerable, accepted selves. Trauma affects the way we see the world and our sense of safety in the world. We can’t control what happens to us in life, but we can control our response to it. I am passionate about helping clients feel empowered, re-write their story, address negative beliefs from trauma, and calm their nervous systems. I mainly use the therapy modalities of EMDR, IFS, ACT, DBT, SFBT, and Attachment Based Therapy. I view therapy as a collaborative process where I bring in knowledge of mental health, and the client brings in knowledge of themselves and what may or may not work for them.
