I work well with clients who are open to exploring their past and its influence on the present, as well as willing to identify the role that they may be playing in their own suffering. We develop ways of psychologically protecting ourselves in our early development, and these strategies may negatively impact our lives and relationships today. Changing these patterns can be difficult! But with a willingness to look at the reality of your circumstances, you can achieve profound healing through more adaptive thinking and behaving. I will work alongside you in this exploration, and encourage active participation outside of session.
