About

My goal as a counselor is to provide clients with a safe space to share their concerns, struggles, and difficulties, and work towards goals of happiness, stability, and serenity. A main focus of my work is to help each client to achieve a connection between mind, body, and soul; to reach a sense and feeling of peace in the present moment. Sometimes, this includes healing wounds of the past. I firmly believe in meeting the client where they are at, and working together, step-by-step, on moving forward. Specialty areas of my practice include: eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma, infertility, and perinatal mood disorders. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy), which is highly regarded in the area of trauma and healing. I utilize a lot of mindfulness in my work with clients.
