Healing Hoofbeats specializes in working with individuals, couples, families and groups through Equine Assisted Therapy. Utilizing both unmounted and mounted techniques, clients are able to work through their challenges and struggles, be it trauma-related or not, through experiential work with horses. Horses have long maintained their "wild" instincts through centuries of being domesticated, offering themselves as the perfect partner for therapy. Horses are a perfect partner for therapy, as they utilize their instincts and keen sensitivity to non-verbal communication to assist their human counterparts in healing and experiencing new ways to develop relationships, regulate emotions and heal from invisible wounds.
