Many of us are lacking emotionally safe and genuinely deep relationships in our lives. Without these connections, we are more prone to being overwhelmed with anxiety, depression, traumatic stress, and/or grief, and we are ill-equipped to handle the inevitable changes and losses in life. I seek to offer such a relationship to my clients, and for two main reasons. First, because in the safety and depth of the therapy relationship, clients can experience how this kind of relationship can bring healing and growth. Second, it can provide a model for how to develop more genuine and deep relationships with others in your life.
