I primarily work with college students & young adults to help them learn strategies to manage challenges with confidence. My main goal as a therapist is to empower my clients to take ownership of their lives as they navigate through stressors with relationships, life transitions, school or work, etc. I often work with students who have experienced trauma & victimization as well. I am solution-focused in my approach to therapy, & I always aim for clients to feel as though they have taken one (or more) practical strategies to apply to their presenting concerns after each session. Within my practice, I place an emphasis on establishing trust and rapport with my clients, as I truly believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship. My clients have regularly described me as relatable, nonjudgmental & authentic. I also find value in incorporating humor in sessions, while balancing directness & empathy.
