When you were young, you imagined things would all come together when you became an adult. Others may see you as successful, composed, or upbeat, but they don’t see the whole picture. They know nothing about your anxious thoughts, about your past and the way it still affects you, or your insecurities. Some days it can be hard to look in the mirror after comparing yourself to those on social media, siblings and friends, or to your own high standards.
