I enjoy assisting clients in recognizing their strengths and promoting positive growth. I use a client-centered approach but also use a combination of solution-focused, cognitive/ behavior modification and motivational interviewing. I have more than 22 years of experience in private practice, in-home counseling and school-based services. I have primarily worked with adolescents, young adults and adults. I enjoying walking the therapeutic path with my clients, providing encouragement and support, while also challenging unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors.
