Hello, my name is Heather Smith. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. I am currently in the State of Georgia. Are the demands of life overwhelming? Do you find it hard to manage all of your responsibilities? Feeling anxious, depressed, or stressed? Dealing with grief or loss? Are you having relational problems? I offer both Christian and secular counseling through Tele-Mental Health. I have worked with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress, mood instability, interpersonal issues, work-related challenges, divorce, and other disorders. My treatment methods-Cognitive Behavioral (CBT): CBT works great for those who enjoy having some homework between sessions. Change begins with awareness. I teach clients to "think about what they're thinking about" and take note of their feelings. Mindfulness-Based Therapy.
