Life can be hard and that is part of the reality that comes with being human. But sometimes even our best effort to move past difficulty falls short. And when our stories do not get listened to or honored, it can create a deep sense of aloneness. Therapy is a relationship where we collaborate to listen to you, the client, in order to find solutions within the particularity of your own story. Whether you are dealing with the difficulties of family or other relationships, the demands of work and school, or struggling with personal or faith issues, counseling can be a powerful way to get back on your feet. My therapeutic approach is relational, trauma-informed, attachment-based, skills-oriented and solution-focused. This means that I focus on how your inner world has been shaped by early experiences, as well as how that impacts your present relationships and broader life experiences.
